The other day my mate overtook an astra vxr that was going for it, my mate has a corrado VR6 with shrick manifold and miltek exhaust

TBH i wasnt that impressed by the VXR

It's not suprising you didn't think it was that quick tbh.

You say anything that people will react to.

I wouldn't imagine it'd be stupidly quicker than the rado' though but that doesn't mean it aint that quick quicker than your seat

a vr6 is what, 6.7 to 60, a VXR is 6.4? granted the vr6 will have lost power due to its age, but those engine mods should bring it back to standard if not more, so theres going to be nothing in it IMO.

The VR6 is good for a lot of grunt above 80 too before people start jumping on the 0-60 isnt everything

A well serviced VR6 should make factory figures if its been looked after.

6.2 0-60 in VXR I thought.

But yes VR6's do pull very well at high speeds. They just keep going.

Not been in a VXR so cant comment on them
