Hi, mate of mine is after a half show cage, pref in chrome for his corsa b (so the seatbelts, back seats etc can still be used)
Anybody know where to get one, and a rough price?
Had a quick look on ebay and can only find dimma ones at £250+ which seems a bit steep for a tubular hoop with two legs?

or spend the same amount on a cage that will possibly save your life rather than killing you in a crash!

thats like anything, you could say that for every mod for looks on your car, i think it's brilliant, it looks like a roll cage, but it's functional aswell. plus it only cost me £50, i must admit i doubt i'd pay over £300 for one. Plus thats £300 and you can fit it yourself, a proper roll cage takes more skill.

but a proper roll cage is still 300
i can see it in your case, 50 quid, its like a strut brace, there more for looks than anything. but 300 odd seems a terrible terrible waste of money. to me personally that is, whereby a proper cage is the same price and actually serves the purpose the name gives it. instead of a hoop labelled as a cage

A show cage IS NOT FUNCTIONAL!
It WILL NOT offer ANY protection in the event of a rollover/nasty accident!

sorry i meant functional in the way you can still use the back seats. but now thinking about it that doesn't make the cage functional!!!!!! Well at the end of the day it's for looks, some people spend 100's pounds on wheels, just for looks.

50 quid no, wont complain at all.
just 300 odd i fail to see the point when you can buy a real cage for 300
