I'm waiting on tickets from tickettout.com. I know it was probalby a mistake to get anything from them, but they were sold out eveywhere else and I really wanted to go
That was 3 weeks ago, I've emailed them twice asking when they'll be despatched, and they haven't replied
They cost £115.00 for 2, face value £70.00 for 2

Not quite. It's someone I want to see, but I don't think he would want to admit to anyone he's going with me !!

its only the same as buying a console and then selling it on for more becuase its unavailable! Bit of double standards there me thinks!

Not at all carl, consoles are around for 6+years if not more, a concert will be for a matter of days.
The people stupid enough to pay £400 for something worth £180 that they cant wait 3 weeks for is just stupid.
Totally different IMO.

It's not different at all.
A parent not able to get their kid a 360 for xmas without spending over double the price because somebody has only bought one for a quick buck will feel at least as strongly as you do if not more.

My brother had spare tickets from a Suede gig about a year ago, he sold them on a Suede fansite for face value.
Try an arcade fire fansite Jambo, you might get lucky, maybe someone is out there who wants to give someone a chance to see them, without being a complete cunt with the prices.

Id say ticket touting was almost as bad as exploiting people by buying consoles and selling them for profit, but what do i know.

it's not bad really, it's supply and demand. if people continue to pay the inflated prices, they'll continue to sell them for it.
when people start refusing, the prices will come down.
the people doing it just have good business sense, it's not much different from buying clothes from a chinese factory, and selling them here for 100 times more, like asda do.

Sorry but my kids would get one when they are cheaper, xmas isnt about how much money you can spoil your kids with.

Unfortunately about 99% of parents are seeing how much they can spoil their kids with though so still perfectly valid.
They same parents would most likely say its only a stupid concert, wait till next time.
