I would look a tool in glasses, family have got pretty bad eyesight generally but mine's very good for now.
I keep getting eye infections lately though and i'm worried it may have an effect on my eyes
I've had one just lately because some bird in the pub thought it would be funny to lick my eye when she was pissed

I do
I'm sure opticians lie....
they always say when you first get them 'oh you're lucky we caught it when you're still young...chances are you won't need them in a few years'
bollocks

I wear contacts, glasses pissed me off.
My eyes have got worse the past 2 years. It's working with a computer all day thats done it.
I found out that if you work on computers a lot, you are entitled to an eye test paid for by the company.

I do.
I have done for years, all the time, even though I was originally only supposed to wear them to read, or watch TV.
My eyesight now is worse than it was before, because my eyes have adapted to the glasses, so I can't see a thing up close without them

Not anymore! Mwhahahhaa!
Most people will have to wear glasses when they get older due to the muscles in the eye becoming tired.
How old are the people in your office wearing glasses?

Steve in all fairness if you si infront of a computer screen all day you should wear them too.
Basically anti glare lenses filter out the bad light emited by screens making it clearer and safer for your eyes.
If you have noticed some top of the range Renaults have these on their windscreens which is tres coool
Come your late 20's/early 30's your sight will deteriate thus needing a near prescrition so you can read.

I could have contacts, but I think I'd constantly find myself pushing up my glasses, even though they're not there
