This car caused an argument between me and my ignorant friend.
He said BMW never put turbos on thier cars because of lag. I told him thats why they used two, he told me he knew everything about BMW's because he worked for them in thier IT department for his placement
Interesting story about a nice car

Must admit I did'nt believe it at first when someone said they were doing a Twin turbo jobbie. Sounds cool though.

Don't think it does, but my dad owns one and was told he could easily achieve 400+ bhp out of it with a remap.

This is the new shape one though, which would indicate that the new shape M3 is going to be more powerful still.

Does'nt matter anyway seeing as its not supposed to be an M3 replacement anyway. Sounds like the new M3 could be a bit of a monster, supposed to be a V8 is'nt it?

Yes, it doesnt resemble a sports car in any way, apart from maybe the 2 doors. It just looks like "another beemer" but with 3.5 TT under the bonnet.

As good as a petrol in what way? It's better than a petrol in fuel consumption.

ed, it's not a diesel, it's a 3 litre petrol, from the E46 330i, with 2 turbos.

Yup, M3 is planned to have a V8.
The 335Ci does have a smaller turbo for low down revs and bigger for up I believe.
Nice cars, need iDrive with SatNav to make the dash look complete etc. Not a sport model out yet though Although you can get an aero kit for it, it isn't Mtech.
The latest 335Ci compared to current (E46) M3 is different kind of power etc. 335Ci better for cruising, long distances, soft comfortable power whereas the M3 is more muscle type track harsh power.
