Just had a look down the sea front and the waves are huge again, high tide is in an hour som im gonna go back down and see again. Should be doing uni work but this is much more exciting

we used to get waves like that here goit straned on the peir one night because the waves were coming up through the floor outside lifting the slabs off the sortedit no by loadeding the beaches up with more shingle etc no big waves anymore

Been out for another 2 hours and got some more pics, pretty impressive again





I took this one from inside the car, opened the sunroof and shut it again before the spray came


Also did this one the same but didn't shut the sunroof in time and got soaked


The steps that usually go down to the beach are now covered (Broke the flash on my phone, sorry about dark pic)


Some of the damage from last night


Collection of the paving slabs that obviously got ripped up


and lastly, not sure how well you an see it, but the wall has actually been washed away, there is nothing between the two posts at the bottom! The whole area is fenced off now.


And a little video clip of the waves by the glen pub, I couldnt get a video of them by the breakwater (where I was sat in the car) cos of the light, and if i got any closer I would have got washed away!
