After a long trip down to Beconsfield from Preston I returned with this

Am really happy with it. Lovely to drive and just what i wanted (something well built and turbo). I haven't got around to taking any new pictures yet but i will when i clean it. Got a bit dirty from the motorway yesterday. Anyway cheers to Cupra Steve (member from here) for meeting me. I have no immediate plans for it as i'm skint. Thanks for looking guys

Definately, it never seems to stop pulling!! Whereas the pug was good up to about 3rd, this thing seems to keep going. It is a totally different drive to the pug, feels a lot more refined, but is very comfortable, and the performance makes me grin

How you doing Mark? NNice to meet you, glad your happy. Had so much fun in the pug already, went out for a drive and this may seem mad but it's so fun driving with your mates rather than putting your foot down and leaving them!!!! I don't actually miss the power from the ibiza, as i told you i used to have an xsi and 106's are addictive, but it is fun doing 80mph in fifth and booting it and it just pulls!!! Do you miss the low, good handling, individual feel of the pug? I'm getting the alarm sorted and also found out the 6x9's aren't working, (which i didn't notice, the guys round the back that work in the sounds system place did!) So they're sorting that out for me!! I mite also put in 2 10" Directed Audio subs in with another amp and use yours to amp the front components, anyway, so many things to sort out!!!! Chuffed to nuts and pleased you are to!!!!
(and you nicked my pics!!!!!)

Should be 200bhp, but it's never been on the rollers, was gonna take it down the strip but i really couldn't abuse it!!!!

What do you mean??? TBH i think i've got as good deal, the pug has done half the miles!!!! Looks fit as fuck, plus i've always loved 106's and always wanted a GTI so now i've got probably the best looking one i've seen, only thing i'm gonna do to the exterior is get the guys out the back to fit a solinoid popper to the boot so i can take off the black handle and smooth it.

I had no idea the 6x9's weren't working! If i'd known i would've got that sorted for you straight away. (suppose i really should've checked them) but then again that's the last thing i was going to check at 4.45am I'm glad you're happy with it mate, and don't get me started on the handling of the pug, i miss the handling already Really good to meet you mate. Glad you're happy. *awaits progrees thread on the pug in less than a week*

Yeah i'm already thinking of a few bits, but girlfriend said it's christmas!!!! Have to wait till after, don't worry about the 6x9's mate, it's getting done now!! I was suprised how much quicker the 106 is to a fiesta zetec s!!! And i went past my mate in his clio 16v, but he can't drive it as he is used to his corsa 1.2!!! I love this little car!!! MOMO steering wheel is going on tonight hopefully!!!! Then cage might be tomorrow!!!

I nearly swapped mine for it but got talked round by the missus that it was too small for me..
So I could have been driving the pug...
