It was about 12:30AM and i was just gettingready for bed, very tired GF was already asleep....
So got into bed all was well and started drifting...........
 woke up screaming covered in a cold sweat standing up by my bedroom door turning the light on 
What the fuck.

I have no idea what i dreamt, i was then awake till 5am, not wanting to fall asleep again and scare the shit out of my girlfriend and my sister who was in the next room who came running in thinking i had been murdered

very similar thing happened to me last week, the mrs didn't speak to me for about 4 days!
still don't know what i was dreaming about!

yes, mine was properly freaked out and wouldnt go near me for about an hour.....
She came round in the end tho.
Scared the crap out of me, i still cant remember what i was dreaming about. I think i thought something was coming towards me?

 same thing happened to my mate on holiday
he woke up screaming, then when he went to run out side he ran full steam into a glass door
in the morning he couldnt explain what had happened apart from having a sore head

my little brother used to have them quiet alot, constant crying, shouting, screaming and he would sit up rite in his bed looking at you asking to save/help him! then he wouldnt remember anything

i dream like this alot. wake up in the middle of the night and scream etc.
been known to run down the stairs on more than 1 occasion
i see things when im asleep (eg MASSIVE spiders in my bed) so i get up and kill em or run

Ryan, just been reading up about night terrors and apparently its very common to see spiders/snakes or animals instead of people?
Man freaked the shit out of me, my heart beat was so fast i cant describe it it, it felt like there ws no blood in my legs!

This happened to my g/f not long back except she foned me at 3 in the morning and caried on screaming sayin she saw two people in her room. cue me driving 50 miles to her uni at 3 in the morning doin a 103 in a 1.2 8v 
Seems quite common this night terror might read up myself

never really looked up on net etc bcos ive been doing it for years lol. either than or i just sit up in the bed excorcist stylee then go back to sleep. half the time i remember half i dont.
gf was a bit freaked out when she 1st say me doing this lol. now she just tells me to "Get the fuck to sleep"

i had a dram last night about flipping pancakes, my mum then told me i couldnt flip it as high as her, so i went outside and managed to flip it on the roof of the house, so i climbed up to get it off and found a stash of fryingpans that you plug into the wall with a kettle lead, i then woke up

something on there i can relate to. the part where u arn't suppose to tell the person "it's a dream" "or it's ok" because it makes u worse as NO it isn;t ok that theres spiders in my bed and NO it's not a dream
