im planning on getting another corsa in january but keep on gettin unsure as to whether to get another corsa b or get something different like a corsa c! i drove a corsa c when i was learning to drive with my instructer and i loved th car, was very smooth and seemed a lot nicer and more equipt inside! for any corsa c owners on here, do you recommend me getting a c over another b? cheers lads!

i like vauxhalls though, easy to get parts for too when they are needed! i love corsas and want another one but just want to know whether the corsa c is worth the extra money rather than getting another corsa b?

He wants a corsa and this is a corsa website so all good
C is newer, more refined I think...Prefer the B unless it's a 1.8sri C

ye i know what your saying there, obviously i would like a quicker corsa b like a 1.4 or 1.6 for the extra power but was just thinking as im only 18 i just need a reliable car thats good looking and feels nice to drive, a 1.2i 16v sxi corsa c would still be better than my 1.2 8v corsa b i own now! just cant be doing with all the little faults with the corsa b like the little sensors going and the constant little rattles you get from the interior, think the corsa c is a better and more solid build! would just like a bit of advise from corsa c owners realy!

I've had 2 B's and a C.
The C is the most comfortable, quitest, seems better built.
BUT, its horrible and wallowy in the corners, slower than my 1.4 8v B, and the steering feel is horrible.
I'd have another B, but I can't say I'd buy another C.

Well, it is much nicer to drive round town, but it doesnt handle as well as my B.
But then I never drove my B without decent suspension, so it might be deceiving
When I've got the suspension on the C sorted in a week or so, I'll probably change my mind.
The C is better specced than the B, model for model. pretty much all of the C's have Aircon, all have remote locking, alarm, PAS, most have a CD player...
And they're newer, and less likely to fail an MoT, or rust to bits, and they don't rattle as much.

I didn't say don't test drive corsa's did i? I just said test drive other things too, see which is best for you, rather than being so blinkered.

as carl said id test drive as many cars as possible, even things you wont plan on buying, i origionally wanted a fiesta ST but drove past a mini garage and took a Cooper S for a blast just for the hell of it. Ended up gettin a £2K Corsa B in the end tho lol

if its deffo a corsa you want tho m8, the C 1.4 SRi is nippy and newer but IMO the only look nice in Black but then again black is a twat to keep clean. If i got a C it would have to be the 1.8 SRi.
If you get a corsa B id go for a higher plate sport where the door pilars arent at risk of splitting and you still get aircon and RCL etc.

the c is a superior car unless you're talking about looks which is of course personal opinion.
i've got a c and have driven a b, there's no comparison tbh

i changed from a 20xe B to a 18ze C the C is nice and quiet to drive and has plenty of factory extras but the B was stupidly quick and i enjoyed the power
the answer is a C with a c20let or z20let

ive owned 2 corsa c`s and 1 running corsa b.
the c`s are nice to drive but just the power steering sometimes scares me as it just gets light in the corner which makes for intersting driving!
the b is an xe and was nice but its very basic and the steering is a bit to heavy!
and standard ride on a c is not that gd unless a 1.8 sri, but they are genrally good cars and i love my 1.4 as it is quite pokey!

yeah, they'd be fine. standard SRi wheels are ET40, and 6" wide.
I have 6" ET49 ones on mine now, and they're fine too.

they'll be absolutely fine. they'll sit in further than the sri wheels, by 2mm, and they're 13mm wider, so... erm...
they'll sit out by 4.5mm over the sri ones, so they wont catch on the arch, and they'll be fine on the inside too, as they;ll be further away from the struts than the et49 ones I have, and they dont catch.

yeah, there's LOADS of room in the arches on a C, you can get 18s on with NO work at all, and even some 19s (if you wanted to )
