and its exactly the same as it was when it went in. it was supposed to be having the seat ibiza splitter fitted and some lights but the bloke couldnt get he splitter to fit and the lights wouldnt work the way i wanted them to. so basically it was in the garage for a whole day and had nothing done to it.

@d12mat- the lights were these ones from halfords that were going to sit on the steering column facing the dials. ill gget a link in a sec.
@ monster- i have no idea he said that if he stuck it on then it would come out past the front of the bumper so it would look awful.

All the splitters do that, they need cutting and joining in the centre.

car care in stoke its where my car always goes. and he has always bin really good. and will never do anything that he thinks will look bad. thats why he left the splitter off. he didnt do the lights because i wanted them wired though a switch that meant he needed to cut the thing that plugs into the cig lighter but then they wont work as they need a resistor of some kind.

He had to cut the splitter.
And he had to wire in a female lighter plug behind the dash, with one of the cables to the socket from the earth or live running through a switch.
Not too hard TBH.

I dont understand why people think the garage are cowboys
The garage was right... the spliter wouldnt go straight on, and would need bodged to fit. If i owned a garage i wouldnt take on daft jobs like that.
