found out from my neighbor that there is a gym pretty much round the corner from me.

£50 a month and they have a pool, sauna and steam room
plus full weights rooms, running rowing machines etc etc..

so going there straight from work.. as it 2 mins from my house

I wish there was one right by me

I go to one 15/20 minutes down the road (well i havent been for about 4 weeks now!)

Wish i could walk 5 mins up the road to go!

cos the only other close one is a Holmes Place which is £46 but its about 15-20mins drive

where as this place is 2mins and it has a pool which Holmes Place doesnt.

think im willing to pay an extra £3 a month for that

think it costs me £20 a month to go swimming twice a week at lcal swimming pool

not enough to warrant a membership as i wouldnt use it anymore, dont like gyms

£50 seems steep! i pay £20 a month and get all gym apparatus, weighing area, sauner, shower room plus a longe area where you can chill and watch tv if you get nackered lol dont get a swimming pool though

the one i used to go to is a good 20 min drive!! After you've been on the weights and i used to have a 106 xsi with no ps that was not pleasant!!!!

I pay £30 a month, good set of equipment, dumbells go upto 70kg, boxing room etc

lol 70kg a side isnt a huge weight when you're training chest. Obviously no-one will bicep curl them lol but there's a few lads who press that weight.

There's one just along from me that's absolutely amazing
Massive gym, indoor 25m pool, outdoor 25m heated pool, indoor & outdoor tennis courts and squash courts.

It's £65 a month though
and that's with discount aswell.
For a full fitness and court membership it's something like £85 a month

I went for a free week trial...it really was good...just can't afford it
