I'm still knocking around in my 1.6 16v Vectra while I source a replacement (may be a Astra Coupe Turbo now) but I was driving home today on some cracking b-roads with no-one else on the road in front and I could see really far in front so could take all the racing lines.

Now, I know its a 1.6 Vectra but I still had a great time bombing round the corners, carrying a bit of speed and a bit of left foot braking every now and again.

Anyone else think that is doesn't really matter what you drive, you can still have fun even if it is a shit-box?

If you have some nice quiet roads then yes an average car can be fun chucking it around, but in something quick its even more fun!

If I think back to driving the same road in the Punto Turbo then yeah it was more fun but I find myself having to actually drive the Vectra. IWhen I say that I mean I have to carry the speed from corner to corner otherwise it loses too much.

Now if you had said that the last time I was shopping in Falkirk, I would have serious concerns about you. I was in River Island, when two guys (drunk) stopped, lay down on the floor infront of everyone, and looked up my skirt!!!

They were ordered out the shop
