04 plate Fabia VRS in Midnight Black

Boring stuff first.....
130BHP but some say this is more like 140/150 when run in
230 ft Torque
0-60 i rekon is in the high 8's
130 mph
50 mpg
ins group 8
First of all yes i know it's a Skoda and it has 5 doors....and Yes it's a diesel so i don't want any wank comments..THANKS
What a car!!!!!!
First time i drove it i never gave it some as the salesman was in the car and i wasn't even in the postion to buy it.After having a proper go on my own i felt the true power! The torque just bets the car along and in my opinion it's just as quick as my old scooby in some situations.
Ok it may not have anywere near the 0-60 but in terms of 'Real World' speed it's not much different.
It's got AC/CD/Electric heated mirrors..Mint white and black interior..TC..etc etc Brakes are really strong (not hard considering how shite the Scoobys brakes were!) It holds the road really well although i do miss the 4WD already
It gets the power down really well and the wheel dosn't fight it's way out of your hands like the 172 clio i test drove a while back.Suspension is a bit roly poly but a set of ARB's will be on soon.Ride is slightly harsh but just right even though it sits way to high!
MPG dosn't seem as good as i thought as yet but i have been booting it around getting used to it Hard to drive it normal to be honest
Got 0% APR too...a full service ..and a free MOT in march
Getting a remap ASAP as there are offers on at the moment for £300 which will give better MPG...180BHP and 300lb of Torque
Oh and a new bedadged black grill.Pics don't really do it justice as the rims look to small but in the flesh they look ok.

Yes Adam you'll be fitting my an Ipod kit to it ASAP I'll take you for a spin mate
Wheels are ok..as said they look bigger in the flesh but some nice BBS's or Octavia VRS 17's would suit it more plus a decent drop with ARB's.

They should have made them in 3 door, would have looked like the new Corolla which IMO is a very nice car. I like the Skoda, just needs to be lower.

Agree with you there OJ! Seen a shop of a 3 door in black and it looked a million times better!
Sounds daft but we go to Asda about 4 times a week so i like the 5 door to just sling the shopping in the back without having to mess with the front seat
Done 37K Mark with FSSH just serviced too.
