Thinking about changing jobs, I'll be off to Uni next year so I thought it might be good to do something thats not so mundane as listening to nob head customers moaning all day. Will only be for roughly a year
Requirements:
It needs to be fun
It needs to be OK(ish) pay, nothing too high though as I could survive on min wage if I had too. Anything more is a bonus
It can't really be something which you need a certain qualification for - chances are I won't have it
Thoughts/ideas

You have no idea at all?
No particular fields of interest?
Companies you would especially like to work for?

I wouldn't mind being a manager in a Cinema
But you have to have 18 months of management experience, I don't have that much

Management is hard to get into, without a degree the only other way to do it is work your way up from the bottom

Best 'fun' job ive had was labouring/driving for a tool hire company.
We got up to EVERYTHING under the sun, everyone was more or less on a level of soundness, pay was supprisingly good for what it was 6.35hr - s'nay bad if all your expecting is minimum wage! & to top it off I got fit running around & lugging heavy equipment around all day - my gun's were massive!! .....I loved it would go back in a second
Also they paid me an extra month I didnt work after finishing with them + I got a cheque through 2 days ago (I quit 1st September) - £200 holiday pay

You'll have had some holiday entitlement that you never took off, so they pay you for it instead

I've worked in a car wash and driven a van, both fun enough. The wash potentially more as it was a smaller place, only a few of us there and everyone was in to it, no lazy colleagues. The tyre and exhaust place I drove for had a few people who would disappear when you needed to load up or fetch stuff which made the job a bit harder, but I had a run up to Southport and back every day which was enough time to get the tunes on and the window down.
