www.VauxSport.com are looking for about a dozen cars to come along to brunters, be tested properly with Datron gear for specifically top speed up the striaght but also hopefully some 0-60 and quarter times etc too.

Im hoping to get at least partial funding for the day, so cost to people attending will be somewhere between nothing and not a lot.


Im looking for cars that are contenders only really, if you arent likely to be doing 150mph+ on the straight, then this particular day wont be for you.


If people could either post this text, or a link to this thread on any related websites they use, it would be much appreciated


Total Vauxhall have expressed an interest in featuring the day in the magazine too, so should be good exposure for people who come along .

get a LET with F28 running around 350-400 and you should crack 170MPH (ish)

maybe not in a corsa tho.. they aint built for speed

i know there is that Mk3 Festa that does 176mph

Tims isn't working atm as far as im aware, or its in a mild spec stage...

It is just for VX's remember people.........

And must hit 150+ in around 1-1.25 miles as well..

Bascially, if your not running at least a Phase 2 spec LET, or a very high powered XE (230bhp+) then your not quick enough

enough juice (320bhp ish) and 165mph. should be able to hit that. would be damn scary tho

you will not hit 170mph in a corsa in 1.5 miles, regardless of spec unless its about 400nhp+

Paul Johnson did 179mph in a fiesta but thats 400bhp ZT + n20 iirc
