Got it about 2weeks ago with the intention of keeping it for a year and then doing the conversion in to mine. But have had a couple of problems with it, blown AFM, split water hose and water pump has gone
So im thinking of just going ahead with the conversion now.

Thats done less miles than mine!!!


Hoses will cost you pennies to sort, does the 4x4 work? If so keep it.

All ready canceled insurance and sorn the car. Yes the 4x4 does work and engine doesn't tap from cold.

Jeebus! mine had 140,00 on the clock when i got it! But turbo and gearbox were only 18 months old, n car was in a pretty much prefect condition!

Yours is looking good Dan! But you know you want to start the conversion now!

thats a shame dude, about form needing a clean the rest of it looks very tidy, seems a waste of what appears to be a good calibra for a conversion.

My mates Calibra Turbo had 45k on it, M-plate sold it for 3.5k about a year ago.

Ye i know its not hard to replace. But i have made my mine up and it is getting broken so the engine can go in the corsa.

massive shame to break that

Why not strip the calibra interior boot etc etc, get a carbon bonnet, loose the electrics and make it super light, then you will have a 4x4 that is light as your corsa*
