I guess the 'R' could stand for racing, 'S' for sport or something.
I always thought the VTS one was faster, yet I've seen loads of standard ones around with trims, not alloys.
Just wondered what the difference was really?! There is a mug my girlfriend knows, got his Saxo interior leathered, cost him over £2k. Saw an advert in BMW mag for putting leather in E46 at £1.5k I believe.

VTR - 8v
VTS - 16v
Neither had wheeltrims, the Furio and Westcoast has same bodykit as VTR/VTS but has wheeltrims.

erm.
VTR = 1.6 8v around 90 bhp. 0-60 in 10's
VTS = 1.6 16v around 120 bhp 0-60 in 7.5
VTS = faster car. VTS also won't have 'wheel trims' on, it comes standard with VTS alloys.
If you see a saxo with wheel trims, it could either be, a furio, a westcoast, a kitted standard one, or a really cheapo VTR.
Furio + Westcoast = 1.4 8v.

Or maybe, people have re-badged their cars?
Furio and Westcoasts, don't normally have VTR on the side. They have Westcoast etc.

Quite a lot did have them though, I asked my mate who used to work at Citroen and he said they came like that. I've seen loads with the Westcoast badges though. Was there a Eastcoast model too?

I've seen a few Furio's with VTR badges. If it has rear discs (if you can see that) then it is a genuine VTR/VTS unless some mug has had a conversion on a 1.4 8v.

They were standard on early vtr's and vts'
The ones PaulJ has shown are later wheels.
Westcoats and furios usually have either saxo or a little American flag with westcoat written on it just next to the side repeaters.
