Going to see Everton vs Luton tommorow but that doesn't kick off til 8pm. We'll be leaving MK at about 10am so should get there after midday sometime.

Basically we'll have a few hours to kill, suggestons? Does Anfield have a museum?

Yup, isnt a bad tour either TBH. Id ring today and see if their are places left on it though.

And if the kids do ask to mind your car say you'll see them after the game with the money. Most of the time they wont be there when you get back so wont have to pay...thats what Ive been doing for years with no probs

Ive been going to Anfield for over 15yrs now and parking on the street around the ground. Never had any damage to the car or seen any that Ive walked past so wouldnt worry.

The Liverpool website recommends we book for the Stadium Tour, but the Musuem should be ok on the day. I'll try my luck with both on the day. Museum will suffice if the Stadium Tour is full.

Yeah it's a good tour

Avoid the strand near the liver buildings if you can it's getting dug up for the entrance to the new shopping place.

Could always have a mooch around town just for a look, i'd park stadium side of town though.

Albert Dock is nice, few nice bars and things. You could even go on that wierd boat thing on a tour of the dock.

Liverpool is good for shopping too

Went to Man City once when they played at Main Rd, same kind of thing, couple of scruffy looking Mancs came over to my Dad and asked him for a quid to look after the car, he told them it didnt matter as he had a Rotwieler (sp) dog in the back so it wouldnt get knicked, he then got the reply "Nice one, but can he put out fires"

Needless to say we paid them the £1

Well I made it home alive.

Went round the Anfield Museum, luckily my car was still there when I came back The surrounding area wouldnt look out of place in Bhagdad! Definately wouldn't walk roun there after dark. The Museum was cool though, Stadium Tour was fully booked.

Then ventured to Albert Docks, which was alright. Then went for a stroll around town.

TBH I can't see what the fuss is about, I thought Liverpool was pretty ordinary.

As for the game..... We were outclassed.
