Supercharged Corsa Video

Spirited Drive down a dual carriageway in the car, with a couple of higher quality rolling road days to go with it
This corsa is fecking awesome, and when the boost is doubled its gonna be damnnnned naughty! Expect to see it at Crail, Knockhill...and featured in Total Vauxhall very soon!
The owner is a nutter, next years project is a 4wd Z20LET Corsa B!

Fraid not. My camera died and I lost them all
Dougie from Total Vauxhall was there and the car will be featured around xmas time.
It basically looks like a standard white corsa gsi, with cav turbo rims, perspex windows etc.
oh, and a HUGE bonnet scoop as the supercharger comes out of the bonnet lmao

The entire engine/SC/box was bought from Courtenay direct!
It was, basically, a bolt in job!

very horney... Bet it'll be good on track with all that low down power?
Does anyone know what kind of costs were involved (seeing Courtenay Sport means it can't be cheap)...
5 Stud Fans on it as well....

What type of supercharger is that?
I bet that pulls pretty hard, no torque figs?

Just check Courtneys 2.2 SC upgrade (Or Regals) for the 2.2 16v unit.
Think its about 190+lb ft at least.
ITs the weight of the engine+SC that i'd be interested in (Compared to an XE, a LET, a Z20 etc...)

The setup on that car was VERY cheap, but as stated on another forum, for the supercharger kit (no engine) with all the bits to bolt on, from courtenay costs circa £5k!!!

How can a supercharger kit be worth £5k
Most expensive form of tunning?!

Ye, its George's car.
Suprisingly its putting out similar torque and less power than my old n/a 2.1 Corsa.

I think the flaps, rear side windows & 16" Calibra/cavvie turbo wheels spoil it though.
It also sports a large bulge on the bonnet to accommodate the s/c.

It doesn't look much like my engine
SC vx220's are putting out 230-240bhp and similar lb/ft's of torque

Thats . Like the look of it too, although some bits could be removed to make it look better.
