I used to put the coffee in followed by water and milk. Now I put the coffee and milk in, stir then add the water. I've just been told I'm doing it wrong and that I should fill with water followed by coffee then milk
How do you do yours?

If you put coffee in first then boiling water it scalds the coffee and you dont get the full flavour. It should be coffee milk then water for maximum taste.
Tea should have milk put in last as tea leaves need boiling water straight onto them for the most flavour.

Its got nothing to do with strength, Im referring to the taste. If you dont want it strong then dont leave the tea bag in for long.

i was reading an appliance magazine the other week and there is a new kettle coming out which heats water to 2 different temperatures
apparently 100 degrees is only good for tea and 80 degrees is good for coffee, 100 degrees apparently burns coffee beans and gives a different taste
anyways i put ma sugar in first then coffee then milk then water
cant stand coffee beans mixed with sugar

I am a tea drinker. I put the sugar, tea bag and milk in first and then add the boiling water. Stir the tea bag round a few times, take it out and then stir. I dont like strong tea and can taste the difference when people add the milk at the end. Also tea from a tea pot is horrible.
