me and my best mate have just decided to not bother speaking anymore.
Arguement started a while ago when his gf moved into mine and my gf's flat. Few issues came about, such as amount of rent she was paying etc etc (£60 a week in liverpool city centre ) One arguement led to another and she moved out.
Haven't really spoke since then. Just text him to find out why he'd been ignoring me, and apparently, it's because I raised my voice in an argument with her!
WTF!
Been best mates since primary school...

Don't give your mates up over a girl. She will do you head in soon enough. Who are you then going to turn to?
Also, those girls who are mates will then get boyfriends and not want to know. When it all ends up in tears they will come back.

I've been mates with my best mate for a good 10 years plus. Met him at college and lives in the next street. Both live completely different lives as i went to uni and he got a job. He met a girl and now they have split up. Whereas i've lived for my flat and cars, he's lived for his DVD collection and designer clothing whilst living at home.
Thing is, we have stayed good mates no matter what...

im going through a similar thing with my mate at the moment, too tired to explain it now but in short he came up here to live with me at uni whilst getting paid by mum mum a bit to help out doing up the house while he looked for a job, he slacked a lot and still expected a lot of money, we fell out and now not talking at all and we've been mates since i was like 13.

Never do business with friends.
Not all women are bad, unfortunately there are those that are well aware of how to get their own way or twist situations to cause people grief.
Hope it sorts out mate, with a bit of luck, she'll get fucked off, and you and your mate can rebuild the friendship.

I firmly believe the old saying that mates will be mates long after girls come and go
I have a few people I regard as best mates for different reasons, one of who'm I apparantley tried to get into his bird when I was trollied about 3/4 yrs ago (can't remember tho ) we feel out for about 10 months but he realised I didn't like her etc and we are as good if not better mates now.

She was a 2faced @*?!#. She kept telling my gf how much she liked this other guy in work, so I told my mate, and he told me to keep out of his business. Aparetly, I was just trying to mess things up for him cos I was jealous of hos relationship and I didn't like her!

We've not been speaking for a bit now, and the only thing I miss is not being beaten on Pro Evo. All my other mates suck, and it's too easy.

Situations like this is the worst kind. Its so difficult when your best pal falls out with you because of a bird.
Id say go for a pint with him and appologise if you upset her but it werent your intention, if he cant accept your appology and your plea to make things better than fcuk him - better off without.

I honestly don't think it's worth it. I asked yesterday if he could just put what's happened ion the last 2 months behind us and move on, and he siad that raising my voice over his psycho gf who was at the time kicking off at my gf, which was why I had to shout over her, can't be forgotten about or excused. I'd rather just move on with my life. He's got some growing up to do. All our other mates have took my side. They can all see that she's a manipulating <insert abuse here>. He's just gonna end up lonely.
