was looking at lines of saxo vts or 106 gti depending on what i can afford..

cant really go no higher on insurance yet.
only want it for this year, must be faster than my old corsa though

any suggestions?

106 gti would be rough at £2k, youd pick up a mint vts for that though

yea i was swaying more towards the vts due to financial reason

I did look at 306 gti-6 but i dont really wana exceed vts insurance tbh

106 gti would be a shitter at that price. Saying that tho i picked mine up for just over 3k and its only got 25k mileage and done me proud up to now.

306 gti would have a high insurance.

I would go for the saxo if you cannot afford the 106 but i would strongly recommend paying the extra for the 106.

Depends on the original engine/group of the car prior to a conversion

IE a converted GSI would be more to insure than a 1.2 8v thats been converted

Look in classifieds & get some quotes based on whats for sale

My mate used to have one, very capable car and the mid range pick up is very good. Being a Citroen its cheaper to buy than the 306 equivelant too!

insurance group 16 i think they are, just had a quote of £1550 with admiral, im sure i could get it a tad cheaper aswell
plus after this month il have 1 ncb..

the regrets of not taking out my own insurance policy right from the start
so the xsara vts vs saxo vts?
opinions?
