Paul Hunter dies

Story is just breaking that he lost his battle with cancer and died today. Was a good player, and even tried playing during his treatment.

No I thought he was going to be OK, considering he kept playing and that. Must of taken a turn for the worse lately though.

Bad news

Given his shagging antics in breaks between frames lets hope he died a happy man

from what I had read and heard it was thought he would.

He carried on playing to keep his world ranking so could enter the top competitions after he was well again, and they even passed a special rule to freeze the rankings if someone gets ill until they are healthy again.

RIP.

Did he not slip from 5th to 34th during his illness?
