When Pete Tong played at GK when I last went I wanted to dance until 6am without the aid of drugs. I don't know the names of most the DJ's who play at stuff I go to. The other time I felt like going crazy was at The End on London. No idea who was playing. Pete Tong's radio show used to be amazing too, bloody Radio 1 changing it all about, too much pop music on at the moment.

I know what you mean about Morillo Carl...he knows how to work a crowd and his tune selection is brilliant...but technically he is shite...the only place I have seen him play a blinder was in Pacha (Ibiza)...everywhere else he has simply gone through the motions...

Going back a few years, to my Uni/clubbing days, but Seb Fontaine started his set at 4am at Cream/Nation in Liverpool, at an alnighter, was perfect inspiration to carry on dancing when most people were falling asleep!

Most of my mates, who were already falling asleep, could not believe I'm a "clean" clubber (ie. no drugs whatsoever), but could still have the energy at 4am to jump on a podium for another 2 hours!

thats where i saw him. Alot of people this year mentioned he had gone downhill etc. You have to think though, you can't play a blinder every set! there are going to be days when you can't really be arsed when you do something day in day out, even when you love doing something!
Another guy who impressed me was Sandy Rivera really liked one of his setsonce at Bed. oh and DJ gee at Bora Bora he was shit hot too.

I have seen him play well over 25 times now....I have seen him play at Nation in Liverpool...Creamfields...and loads other...but the only place I have seen him play an amazing set is in Pacha Ibiza...

To be honest he has been going downhill since 2003-2004...its not just he doesnt play up to his level...he has been shite on too many occasions for this to be the case...

He is still a crowd attraction and sells out though....just that there is far better technically gifted DJs out there...

Morillo is still decent though and as I said plays amazingly well in Ibiza...

it could also be a psychological thing though, got to be more up for a night out in Ibiza during the summer while on holiday comapred to a weekend night in Liverpool kind of thing!
i don't get to see many people due to mates not having any interest in house music, apart from my best mate but hes loved up now.

When he plays Pacha he flies in on a private jet that day so he wont be having a holiday as such...

He is normally all over Europe the rest of the week....

Charges a fortune too...

i meant you being on holiday and being more up for the night out and that.
still think its like when a footballer gets passed a level where they are on silly money and the passion drops and it becomes more of a job.
