if someone gets a ban. do they get points aswell??

also if your license gets revolked does it come back point free??

depends on the length of the ban.

if the ban is more than 3 years, it'll come back clean, as the points expire after 3 years anyway...

No they don't. Your points are put on hold while you are banned so you don't get a clean licence back. It comes back with all your previous convictions. Trust me

thats not what happened with my mate, he was banned for a year, got 6 points, and they were removed 2 years after he got his license back :S

i need to know cause if mines is gonna come back clean am keepin the corsa and puttin a valver in.

also what u think will happen. 100 mph on the dot on an open bypass no other cars daylight good conditions. i know am loosing license just dunno how long

Or the reliability of the rhumors I have been lead a stray on... Look on the DVLA website perhaps, or phone them up. They are quite helpful.

Depends, could be one of those things that they geive you 9 points and a £300 fine, or it could be a 6 month to a year job.

Was it a GATSO or a patrol car? If it was a GATSO then depending on what happens tomorrow you could get away with not sending the form back and telling the Police to fuck off.

If its a revoke you definitely dont loose the points. They just run from the day you get them.

was patrol car, came down on ramp onto by pass, road was clear for miles so floored it got carried away was doin 90 - 100 before end of on ramp on bypass up to 110-120 lifted off and was slowing down then saw the lights

mate got caught doing 101.9 on the M8 in traffic an got away with 5 points and £350.

I know a lad that got banned for 28 days, he didnt get any points just the fact that he has a 'ban' on his lisence for dangerous driving...

Might get a high fine and no ban.

My mate got banned for 6 months for 97 on the bypass!! He had 3 points already, no points I think just a ban
