cheap power but pointless in my eyes as you could beat something then 100 yards down the road get cained yourself when it runs out
i also controversially think its use in motorsport is cheating

50bhp burst might not be kind to your engine!!!

Kerry - I blew a didgeridoo says:
ive had nos on standard gsi internals for nearly 3 years with no problems what so ever and you dont need a prog controller up to 50bhp

50 is fine as a full hit on a gsi, controller would be better but not essential at all.
speak to trevor at wizards of nos. he will tell you the correct plugs to use etc- infact i would just take it there and get it fitted.
and it is bloody difficult to run one bottle out in a single blast so to speak even on the smallest of bottles.
you dont know the benefits and fun of nos until you have been in a car with it on.

50bhp should be fine on stock intrernals if its a wizards kit! just make sure you go one grade colder on the plugs and dont use it in daft places and you will be fine! as will said have a chat with the lads at highpowersystems (wizards of nos) and they will give you any info you should require! i have one of there kits and imo i do think they are the best kits you can get, i used 50bhp on my oold xe and it made a right difference on the road!

I'd say nitrous was cheating, but as I have a turbo I can't really say that.

I agree with the nitrous thing but how is a turbo cheating?

Forced induction is cheating. Aiding the engine to easily produce more power.

to be honest, i can't see a problem with it.
its not really any different from running an engine on silly high octane fuel, its an easy way to more power when the engine is set up right.
