You could pick it up after you get back, if you wanted to

Or put the sim into another phone & go through the sim contacts

Or do that & press *#100# then call it

That'll bring up the number. Vodafone might want that

Ring the taxi company, tell them, and ask if anyone has reported it missing.

I would speak to L33 LEG about this, he's an expert on retrieving lost phones, who knows he may even have a better phone to trade with you.

Banning from this web site is possible though if you deal with him on said matter, as no one here has ever found something and kept it for themselves, CS is a community of trustworthy honest people, we don't want any bad apples here...

If you have put the sim into your phone and its asking for a phone lock code then you must have set your phone up to ask for this when the simard is swapped.

pmsl at jimbobz long existance!!!

Yeh prob a good idea to hand phone into the police tbh. Imagine if it was your phone missing - surely you'd appreciate it if somebody handed it in rather than just kept it?

Take the sim card out of it give it a good look if you read the serial number on the sim and then snap it and put the fone on ebay you can make some money

BTW - Nobody would go to the police to see if their fone has turned up 99% its been nicked and sold.

if whoever had the phone on contract reports it lost, vodafone will lock the phone itself with the serial number, sim card or not, it wont work. i'd just hand it in if i were you, let the police deal with it.
