try some autoglym tar remover, it should dissolve the little buggers.

clay bar, halfords 14 quid...spray the magical water that comes with it on the infected area and rub the clay on it - useful for cleaning tar/flys/etc

but tar remover should do the trick tbh

whenever i wash my car they come off fine, you just must have shite paintwork thats never had attention in its life, keep on top of it and cleaning becomes easy.

so does my gf's, but the paintwork is as rough as a badgers, you can clean and clean, there will still be a layer of traffic film, tar, and general shite stuck to it, you want a clean fresh base to work off of.

paintwork or anywhere there are flies. It doesnt melt the paint, just soak abit of rag or something in it and rub the flies away
