Decent size boot.

Will used as a runaround for my missus around the town, shopping, school trips etc etc...

ive just brought a pug 1.9 d turbo, great car and i paid £600 its done 141000 but still runs fine.

Golf look ok there, would do fine....

Old shape punto dunno not a fan, even though it's not going to be my car...

Night go to auctions next week as I'm working all weekend..

Seen a couple of vecs around the 700-800 mark all with huge miles though..

If you can stretch your budget to £1200 i got a spare R reg 2.5 V6 Vectra auto hatchback here that i'm temporarily using until mine is sorted. Not the best on fuel for a trip to the shops (although a lot more economical than your old one!), but has a very large boot.. Only done 85k with a new engine fitted by Vauxhall 20k ago.

Yip financial write off....repairs been more than 40% of the cars value. Still not a bad buy for what you want it to do!!
