Cheapest option would be to stick another engine in the corsa & keep that for fishing & dogging trips.

What exactly is wrong with it???

Stick the cheapest engine you can get in it & stash it outside Jamie Olivers house (to pi55 him off) & its there for when you need it!!!

whats the pont of spending all that money on making a car nice and then not driving it? I dont see the point personaly. I drive mine everyday, whether it is shopping or just round a mates. Id rather have it resprayed every year than buy a 2nd car. Id hate to have to go out driving in a poo car when i had my dream car sat at home all locked up in the garage. Pointless!

calm down dear, its an opinion

IMO i couldt drive J18 (its in a million pieces anyway) the 50 miles to work and back a day, it would ruin whats a 20k mile car

its noisy, uncomftable, has no heater or radio

thats why i have (had) a nice comfotable but slow car for everyday

Plus a corrado is a classic pretty much and will hold value better without 250k miles showing on the dash

The runabout costs money to buy, then to tax, insure, mot etc, a respray wouldnt cost more than that a year.
