What song makes you cry or think of sad things?

For me its

Coldplay - Trouble...

Because me and my friend used to listen to it, he had the Coldplay album before me. Then he died in a car accident not long after. Reminds me of him.

And Snow Patrol - Chasing Cars, I don't know why.

Doesnt make me cry but.....

Golden Brown (dunno who sings it)

me and my mate used to sing it to our ginger haired female boss when we were 16 and worked in an ice cream kiosk.

He died last November in a car crash and so when I hear that song it reminds me of him......

The Stranglers I think Jamie, my mum said it reminds her of when I was born or something.

Most have already been mentioned here already:

Sinead O'Connor - Nothing Compares 2 U (it just does)
The Verve - The Drugs Don't Work (reminds me of when my nana died)
REM - Everybody Hurts (just seems very familar to me)
Don't Cry - Guns N Roses (yes I appriciate the name of the song is ironic)
James Blunt - Goodbye My Lover (Not so much about being single - more about how long I was with someone only to find myself single at the end of it)
Linkin Park - Numb (doesn't make me cry but I still find it a very emotional song personally)
