Hi all, heres some more pictures I took today, the car should have the colour on by wednesday, it is going to be painted arden blue. I know someone will post something like "thats hardly original, everyones done arden blue" but its blue on the log book so I wanted to keep it blue to save hassle and arden blue is a nice colour that works well with that shape, and im not pretending to build something totally original anyway! Just cant wait to have it on the road. My mate has done an amazing job of prepping the car, it was absolutely riddled with dents and it now looks in perfect shape!

Why not a different colour blue, maybe Europa blue like you get on Astra Coupe's? Either way will still look good.

Already bought the paint mate, and I was 100% sure I wanted arden blue anyway!

The wheels that are going on are 16 inch BBS alloys that came from a limited edition calibra. They still need to be refurbed and I need to get some tyres for them. Cheers for the comments guys!

Yeah I think its the best rear bumper aswell and I'm not going to spoil it like others and cut it out for an exhaust, or add a number plate recess to it!

for best results remove the bumpers, arches and skirts and paint them seperate, then do the full car

Yeah funny you should say that, cos I walked past your car at PVS, and that was the first time I had seen it, and I already had planned out what I wanted to do, and I said to my girlfriend as I pointed at your car, thats alot like what mine will look like when its done!

I'm sure when its been put back together it will give off a very different vibe. I've got some irmscher smoked rears, a scorpian twin rectangular back box, plus youre bumper is all smoothed out whereas mine is just standard. Your budget must have been twice mine!
