Closed eastbound and wesbound between 18 and 19 due to a fatality
Traffic is backed up to the Severn Bridge, and backed up in the other direction, not sure exactly where either.
Been like this for about 90 minutes now so if any of you are heading that way go via the A roads because you will be going to join the queue.
Really fucking up my day today!

Lorrys are ridiculous on the M25, because there are 4 lanes they sit in the 3rd lane at 55.999mph

Maybe if the bike flipped up and went through the windscreen of the lorry?

tbh its not always the lorry drivers fault, i know of an incident where a motorbike was weaving between traffic on a motorbike hit a stone or some kind of debris in the road lost control right infront of the lorry, nothing the driver can do in that situation...

Typical blinkered motorists view
If you want to blame anyone blame the government for implementing the speed limiters, no-one in the haulage industry wanted them and since their introduction truck related accidents have risen.
They overtake each other because the same as everyone else when you approach a slower moving vehicle you want to pass it, with the high cost of fuel etc its more financially viable for them to overtake rather then have to keep dropping back behind. Doesnt seem much but over the year for a fleet it soon mounts up.
As for confining them to lane 1 Get real, do you actually think that will help things?? With the huge amount of foreign trucks on our roads you aint gonna have a hope in hell of getting on or off the motorway because it will be nose to tail trucks on every road.

Tell me about it....
I live/work on the rat run when they close the motorway between these two junctions. The whole town has been gridlocked all day
Sorry to hear about the fatality though, pics looked horrific

from what i read it was the car that went through the central resevation.
i would like to see anyone stop 44 tons traveling at 56mph when a car decides to pull out in front of you
