been getting these sharp stabbing pains in my chest for a while now. Went to the doctor's a while ago and they said it was common for young males who were quite active to get them

Right at the top of my chest and then to the left slightly. Which apparently is good because it means it's not my heart

Happens when I breath in, feels like someone is stabbing me (or would I imagine a stabbing would feel like).

Anyone else get this? Makes me short of breath.

nah its nothing medically wrong, it feels like a trapped nerve near your lung or something, or muscular, if you take a deep breath it goes

mum said they might be 'growing pains'. My brother gets them occasionally.

It just hurts thats all something can't be right for it to cause that much pain.

thing is, when you get them, you immediately think "OMFG i'm having a heart attack"

i find that holding your breath, or going "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHH" and laying on the floor twitching works.

Ok

I've been there twice now both times they didn't do anything. Wouldn't mind a scan just to make sure. Might have an alien growing in there or something
