I believe this, along with Apcolypse Now to be the worst war movies ever made. Opinions?

Apocolypse now was rubbish IMO.

Watched We Were Soldiers last night and thought that was a good war movie

Please tell me you're taking the piss? We Were Soldiers is quite possibly one of the worst war films ever made and Apocalypse Now is probably one of the best especially in it's Redux form. However I would agree that the Deer Hunter is one of the most overated piles of wank I have ever had the misfortune of watching

hamburger hill is IMO one of the most visually disturbing films about war.

Watched this the other day for the first time, and not sure if it was a bad copy or is there just really random bits of them in Vietnam? first bit of Vietnam was the helecopter then them in the prison camp?
