Never ever hit anything in my car until last night. I ran over a hedgehog , which was in the centre of the road. Where my car's so low it dragged the thing along for a while and I could hear it. Think it has put another red road marking on the road

Then on my way home, I smashed a deer at 60 Deer are so dumb, I saw it running out of a driveway at the last minute, swerved but still hit the thing. It collapsed in the road. Fucking thing has put a dent in my Passenger Wing and cracked the paint on the bumper again . I'll just add that to the list of things to do.

By that time I was seething and went back to kick the shit out of the deer, It was still sat in the road, looking at me. So I left it to it. Hopefully the next artic would come up the road and flatten it .

Deer can cause some serious damage, sounds like you got off lightly.

There was a week last year where I ran over a cat one night, a rabbit the next and then hit a badger another night Alll on the road to my girlfriends house. Didn't damage my car luckily.

I used to hate having to take my mate home in the sticks when I had the civic VTI and the clio, feared a pheasant would run out and cause me some £££ of damage.

Now in my shitty 106 I don't hesitate at all and just hit the fuckers

I know of the damage deer can cause. One wrote off my dad's mondeo a year or 2 ago.

I swerved right over to the other side of the road but still got the bastard. Ah well, It can sit there with it's buckled crippled legs. It's probably dead now.

my old driving instructor wrote his car off by hitting a fox on a carriage way,it ran out and embedded itself into the radiator. He said the smell was awful of coolant/fox and it being lightly toasted on the manifold was a smell not to be desired

Nasty, thing is if I'd hit one/one had hit me, I wouldn't be able to kick the shoot out of it lol, I'd just leave it because it'd be looking at me with puppy dog eyes

What, the deer?

I had just picked my RX7 up from having a new front end fitted (after bumping it) last year. It had taken me 3 months to get the car repaired as it took ages to get the bits. Anyway, on the way home from the bodyshop, a bloody fox ran out in front of me and mullered my brand new front bumper and BOTH of my new radiators
