Mortgage been approved, going to sign paper work and hand deposits over today!

Been told rougly 28 days from today, so 25th August I get the keys!

Congrats.....

I'm thinking aboutthe big move soon.... just got to wait till i can get my hands on the deposit. i have £14k plus my dad is giving me £2.5k so should be able to do it soon

yes ally but what was your house price, expect MK will be one hellva lot more then them coal mining hills.

2 bedrooms here are 130k+, just sold mine for 132k.

sorry my point was here its almost impossible to get a mortgage by yourself unless your earning 35K+

All these house/flat purchases. We should have a CS party ring where all the home owners go to each others houses for a party the second Saturday of every third month or something and it travels around the country

Its a two bed flat/appartment £130k Ive got 40% shared ownership just tog et me on the ladder and out of rents house, doing my head in!

I have shared ownership aswell.

50%, which was 70K. The house is an end terrece. I was looking at buying, but you can't get anything for 70K.

exactly mate, I had 88k limit for house and found nothing, least this way im doing it comfortibly and can get my furniture before i move up to a house!

indeed.

You can get shootholes round here for 80/90k. 1 bedroom flats on high streets and in shoot neighbourhoods. Don't fancy that much.

Anything remotely decent and you're looking at 120k. Ours was 157k (2 bedroom house). I'd hate to think what that could of bought me in say Scotland or Wales

I'm not fussed either way though, just glad (like I'm sure all of you are) to be finally on the ladder. I know it'll be a struggle but in the end it'll be worth it.
