Just wanting your opinions of Fiat Coupes, are they descent?

A guy is selling one at work and I kind of fancy it. Got a leather interior and looks pretty neat.

Are they fast? Parkers says 7.2 0-60, which would mean that it'd be evenly matched with the likes of VTS/GTI

This particular one is a Turbo model. I wouldn't even think of it without the Turbo TBH

Had cambelt done 4k ago. I know the guy well and most of the history of the car and it's been well looked after.

You mean the turbo sounds well, ollie?

I do think they look pretty gash standard TBH.

Definately would need new wheels, lowering and a nice exhaust before i even started.

I'm goin for a test drive at lunch time, see how i like it

One for sale is a red one, if I get it it'd need a bodykit, looks how sexy this is!

Plus, I think i'd have to have white wheels on red

respectable 30-100 time and decent 30-70 thru gears. usually lots of torque and FWD rules apply here, but its a good chassis none the less.

apparantly mint unmolested ones are becoming classics now?

hmm debatable

I like the look of both, thought both were awesome when they first came out. Couple styled by pinnafarina dont forget, it WILL be a classic, the FTO wont.

2 of my mates in basildon own turbo Coupes. One is running near 300bhp whilst the other is about 280bhp. One has a kit on which changes the look completly.

The only problem they both have is although they can kill off most cars in a straight line cornering is a scary experience aparently.

True, but the lines are better on the fto. coupe looks a bit harsh. plus i think the coupe is a bit dated looking FTO seems to be able to still have it even tho its an old car.
