Check the free ads, Ive just picked up a big hex tank, fluval 3 filter, thermostat, light fitting, gravel, and bogwood for...

£35, so im quite chuffed

Just need pump for air stone and dechlorinator/chemicals to start cycling

Also post pics of your tanks, thinking of going for a more natural look with this one, instead of the luminous gravel and plastic ornaments

will post mine when its finished, lots of plant cover, some bogwood, few rocks for hiding, hoping for it to look as natural as possible.

Think 20, 30 gal maybe so not too much work, just gunna go down the natural route with this one i think, maybe some guppies or mollies.

Yeh richies sis has the smaller one, i like the hex's because they are easier to clean and move stuff around in

Good starter tank for the house anyway!

Hope to have a 4/5 foot marine in our room sooner or later, gotta buy doors first thou

In a word, no. But, they are expensive to set up.

It costs me around £10-15 per month to run my tank.
