Whats the best pick up / 4x4 big truck thingy to get.
Needs to around 2.0, Diesel and look mean 
Pics to aid would help, i was looking at an idestructable Toyota Hilux pickup.

I dont have an amazing budget, around 1k- 1.5k.
Just needs to be pretty reliable, able to hold quite alot of stuff( toyota pickup winning ) and also fit my housemates on it( can they sit in the back?? ).

i doub they will legally be able to sit in the back unless you instal la bench and more importantly seatbelts.
Toyota's are meant to be very reliable. I wouldnt touch the suzuki with a barge pole

hey i own a 106 gti which gives me around 220 miles to a full tank, i think i can survive on that.

My mate has an N reg Toyota Hilux that he uses for his gardening business.
The MPG is in the low 20s Its gutless and it costs him a fortune to get bits and bobs done on it. He's getting rid of it for something like a new crew cab Nissan or Mitsubishi.

His has the 3.5 TD engine.
Last time he mentioned it, he said it does around 90 miles to £20.

my dad had an Isuzu double cab 2.8TD and that was a minted pik up.. was over in south africa though and ive only saw a few in this country 
have a look for isuzus though.. or even the nissan pickup

This is my bro`s Hilux, its a 2.0 diesel non turbo but is crap at towing and crap up hills and drinks the diesel so much! Looks cool though!

the pug might become a sunday "best" car, i want something big(maybe i kid thing) also wanted something with a shed load of space for transporting items( engines, car bits, uni stuff ) so would be kinda idea.
