Was watching Love Island last night (as you do) when out of the corner of my eye I saw a spider dash along the skirting boards on the other side of the living room.

I almost shoot myself and ordered Amanda to get a pint glass (an ordinary glass would not have done the job sufficiently I reckon )

The little fcuker tried to get away and made a valiant attempt but failed miserably. He could move quickly but was no match for my girlfriend Got the glass over him and it just about fit over him without trapping his legs he started going all weird and was doing something with his front arm things probably calling for reinforcements

Pics tonight when I upload them of the trapped tarantula.

Or ours tend to chew it, spit it out, let it attempt to get away, chew it again, let it make an even poorer attempt to run away, and carries on untill hes chewed it all up, then he swallows it

don't mind daddy long legs, can pick them up no probs same with moths. Just spiders I hate, don't like the way they move.

i am the same. i hate spiders, i freeze when i see them. but daddy long legs is a spider with wings like a super spider, and i have no problems with them at all

Never used to get them in swindon, but i moved up here and they are everywhere in May - edit It sounds like someone is knocking the window when they fly into it and u need to get them onto the ground and stomp on them full force to kill them!

Luigi - those if I'm not mistaken are camel spiders. Commonly found in deserts

That pic is of one eating the other size of dinner plates and can run at speeds of up to 20mph. They can also jump and scream.

I don't mind spiders at all, I hate moth's cos' they land on you then you try and flick them off and they fly for a second and land on you again, and they also appear to be made out of dust

Daddy long legs' r horrible cos' they are so slow and clumsy rank
