i think im gonna regret splitting my corsa, but to be honest i dont have the knowledge/patience to get the every last bit back in and running.

theres also someone coming up on thursday to buy my box & diff.

was going to go for rx7 next but i dont think it will be as much fun

I can't believe your splitting it. You buy all the parts, paint the shell & then decide that its a bad idea

Apologise to the person who's buying the box, tell them you've decided to keep it

plenty more mechanics out there mate.

ask anyone on this site, and they will all tell you not to split it! and quite right too, as some has said before, it will be one of the nicest corsas on here when finished!

make us all happy

So give someone else the job.

Do you have a deadline to complete to Corsa or you have the van all the time?

Regretted selling my old Corsa Xe when I did because I only kept it for 8 months and it was ace..No probs with conversion at all..

Sold due to circumstances, car crash, not safe enough kids etc...

you will regret it mate.

I had mine up for sale last year (as mav will tell you, he wanted it) but decided at the last minute to keep it. its now had a lot more done to it and ive got it to pretty much where I always wanted it, as a track car. If I had sold it then I would always have wondered what It could have been etc...

as for the mechanics side of it theres loads of people on here (inc me) that would help as well as loads on migweb. if you get stuck with anything just ask. Im sure theres someone near you that would be happy to help as well.

keep it, its come too far to give up

i'm sure someone on here, mig or somewhere would be willing to bolt the engine together FOC just to see it all together and looking lovely

get it built, get it featured, then decide

If your in no rush , take a break from it for a bit. Go to some car shows and get a bit of inspiration..

I'd really be kicking myself if I gave up even on putting my 1.6 in now after all the work but with what youve done I think id be close to shooting myself

A few people may dislike them...BUT...

A big regret of mine came 3 years ago when I had a year old Black Fiesta Zetec S...it was bang on...not a thing wrong with it was immaculate...anyway one day whilst parked in the uni car park someone reversed into it and put a huge dent in the rear quarter...

When I returned to the car they had left no note what so ever...was fuming...I kinda lost interest in it and ended up part ex'ing it for my MR2...

So sorry I didnt keep hold of it now and repaired it...as it wouldnt have been any trouble....

I had it for just over a year and all it cost me was a set of wiper blades...
