Good man.

Just finished my 'cut' to 11% bodyfat for the summer. Looking to pack on some more muscle over the next few months.

Wont be giving up drink though, have reduced it to one night a week.

My post probably wasnt written to well. I will be maintaining my current state for the next month or so, then looking to start bulking up more at the end of August for as long as is needed.

I'm 6ft 1 and about 12.5 Stone @ 11% bodyfat as mentioned.

As for bodytype, Im a right mixed bag. My shoulders and general upper body would suggest Mesomorph, but I have long arms and legs which are Ectomorph characteristics, and then again I have Endomorph hips .

Most people seem to have mixed characteristics of some kind it seems.

I find it hard to put on weight as I do Kickboxing and TaeKwonDo twice a week which consists of intense cardio. My maintenance calories are around 3000!

I need to do a bit more.

Usually play footy quite a bit, but i haven't been for weeks. Got a £300 bike in the shed, not moved that for ages.

Went for a 4 mile walk last night though.

I'm only 5ft7 but a couple of years ago weighed 12st6. Started playing football again and went on a strict diet, by last year I was down to 9st10. Now have joined the gym and working on bulking up and have gone back up to 11st4 but by putting on muscle rather than fat. Quite a transformation over just 1 1/2 years I think.

I have naturally large shoulders and legs, started going the gym again (play footy every week anyway)I'm aiming to lose half a stone or a stone but I need to start lifting some weights again

I find it hard though cos' i'm not very good with training plans and am not good at resting and eating right

i've started drinking water based cordials instead of coke all day long, but i refuse to lay off the beer.

I've recently started climbing which is good fun aswell as good for the upper body.
cycle at least once a week, but don't do much else apart from that.
Quite happy with my body apart from the gut that's been developing lately.

You need to eat more if you find it hard putting on weight.

www.bodybuilding.com has a huge amount of info. The articles and forums there are THE best resource for anyone into losing fat, gaining muscle and wanting to know about weight training.

My metabolism is pretty quick as I get a lot of Cardio from Martial Arts and eat every 2-3 Hours. Supplements dont do a lot really, diet is the prime dictator.

What kind of things do you eat on an average day? Anyone can put muscle weight on, just more effort is needed in some cases!

If you want to train for for strength and endurance- the two things are opposite, the ultimate strength athletes generally have lower endurance and vice verse. Training for looks gives you a good middle ground!
