Adam - that the biggest heap of shite ive heard..

A TMIC is good for the job it was designed to do.

Not really a dailly drive car WHAT THE HELL!!!! Why do you/I see them EVERYDAY then.

An impreza is as reliable as the next car when its not played with by an idiot.

You hear more horror stories about them because of the sheer fact that they are so easy to tune.... hence clueless fuckwits tune them unsafely!!!!

Did it have an aftermarket induction kit? sucking up dirt?!?!! What are filters for?

I was gonna disagree with everything Adam said, but AK did it for me.

TMIC shit It's only shit if you're tuning over 340bhp.

I use mine everyday

Also 2L Sports are slow and shit, think they're only like 130bhp

cannot believe you still promote this

If this was the case all subarus are effected

It is more likely the case of people increasing boost hence running hotter and orginal IC not coping

An Impreza Sport comes with 123-130bhp. The fuel economy isn't much better due to it still being a flat four. Your'e looking at 29-35mpg. 0-60 is about the same as a 1.6 Corsa, which isn't mind blowing, but 0-60 isn't everything and the cars still have Subarus AWD. Inside its pretty much the same, minus the rev counter on some. Expect servicing to be expensive, I doubt it will have the same intervals as the Turbo but as its still a flat four arrangement theres the labours charges etc to think about. Someone I work with has a 2.5 non turbo Legacy, new brakes at a services came to over £600...

The new age Impreza Sports (2001 on) came with about 165bhp, bigger car though and just as slow.

Altho, if it is a full STi replica, with scoop and all the trimmings, including bucket seats then "yes", i'd rather have that than the corsa.
