Project Mini: Im restoring and treating my mini ( G Reg ), tbh ive been passing the job off for some time and now ive finally decided to do it.

The Mini:

Lots of rust all over the car, i decided to start on the front( Rust treatment )

Found out that my bumpers were even rusting Gay, so i treated them:

Also removed the grill as i have a new Stainless steel one on order about time too as it also was rusting up:

Look at this great untouched engine bay ( not bad for a G reg hehe )

Yes that is the fucking sump, how clean hehe .

Anyway carrying on with the mini:

Was getting there but found other bits of rust:

Always get rust under the lights, absolute pain in the arse aswell

****** Off topic ***********

Look at how small this Belt is, it made me chuckle.

*****************************

Back on topic, after a few cans back to work:

Clean the engine bay up alittle hehe, how good does this look:

Then disaster, found rust under the bonnet, will be taking that badger off and sorting it:

Masked up for spraying up the Anti Rust Primer:

Spayed:

So what do you guys think? not bad for a first go at a project car / restoration.
