Sorry for a lot of pictures
Once all my Meguiars cleaning products arrived I waited for a nice day to give it a full detailing.
This is the list and order of the products I use by hand:
1) Meguiars Shampoo dried with Meguiars Water Magnet (two bucket method)
2) Meguiars QuikClay
3) Repeat step one
4) Meguiars Deep Crystal Paint Cleaner
5) Meguiars #7 Show Car Glaze
6) Meguiars NXT TECH wax
7) Turtle wax tryer gel

This is how the car was before I started (ok its not that dirty, as I gave it a wash mid week)

Few pictures after a wash and towel dried down

Now it was time for the Clay to do its work. I couldn’t believe how much dirt came from the car

Now it was time to repeat the first few steps, cleaning (two bucket method) and towel dried down.

Now for having a look at the paint to see what condition it was in. There was swirl marks, but I couldn’t remove them by hand so I have to the best to hide them.

After I spent 4 hours applying the deep crystal paint clearner, show car glaze, and Meguiars nxt tech wax, it was time to sit back and admire all the hard work:

Then a close up of the paint work after all products applied:

The wet look really stood out

It really took its time, but the car has never looked so good.

I remember back in the olden days when everyone said Megs was rubbish and you should use Autoglym. How the times have changed.

Why would you wash the car again after you clay barred it? with the mothers system you dont have to do that. Mothers stuff is the uber daddy in the states btw.
If you get that car in a shopping centre car park or similar with the bright overhead lights then i think it will show you hardwork a lot better than that direct sunlight.

Lovely car mate, really like the GSi's especially in that colour
How does the dirt gathered in the claybar not scratch your car as you drag it across the bodywork? And how do you clean the claybar itself to get the dirt out for next time you use it?

The clay bar scratches your paint up loads. The way I used mine when I could be bothered was cut a small bit off and used it then throw it in the bin.
