Right well i have been looking for a mk1 astra for a while but came along this mk1 Opel Kadett instead which is pretty much the same but this has an xe fittted to it!
So yesterday night after work i made the 2.30hrs journey to pick it up and when i got there was plesntly suprised that it was fitted with spax adjustables which is all good, got it for a good price IMO!
It even has power steering which quite cool!
Anyway i have bought it as a project for my self and im gona do it up over the next year or so with all my hard earned pennies!
What you all think to it? Just a few quick pics from today.

and here are a few with my mates mk1 astra!

and this is on the rough lines which i want it to look like, sorry bout the small pic!
let me know what you think to my plans please!

tbh the pics make it look a hell of alot better than it is, it is very tatty with alot of rust on it so i am gone respray it all anyway, and as to the desecent lump im not so sure as it does produce a bit of blue smoke when reved! maybe a good idea to rebuild whilst in the process of it all getting done!

So
The mk1 Astra shape is cool too tho, still very classic. That'll make a good project. I wish I had the space, time and knowledge for something like that.
