Fitted the new spax coilovers tuesday, complete set for only £175 from halfords

last two pictures were fully lowered (looked alot lower in real life) tyres SITTING in the crap shield! and tyres touching the coils, so had to rise up to full hieght to compensate, now only slightly rubs

i no mate thats why i got them, apperantly lasts years stock, £430rrp. spax rsx front coilovers with just fixed hieght -50mm rear with adjusable rebound. Fronts -50 to -80 at 50 in the pics

cheers got to get some new tyres soon, curantly on 185/55, but they may touch the strut/spring if i go for 195/50 or 45, pretty close atm

theres a set in the store where i used to work part time. Theyre still there and have been for over a year. I might phone up and get em to run them through to see what they come up as

say halfords in sittingbourne (kent) were selling old stock for £175, bit of a bitch to fit, couldn't believe the coil touched the tyre when is set up any lower!even with the right offset and everything and spacers would make the tyre scrub the outer arch even more

i got mine from our store for that complete bargain plus you get a warrenty on them aswell. quite a few stores still have them.

nope fronts were really easy rears were not too bad. now the exhaust rattles on the rear axel lol. how low is the front of yours warren

i had the same problem, had to move the exhaust bracket 180, but it still vibrates rears fit not a proble at all. in the pictures it looks low, but when you see the car driving to towards you in looks like its on the ground! also fitted a lightened flywheel an new clutch same night, that made quite a bit difference (not balanced with crank tho)

me niether, there are some right steep ones to get to halfords! well one of me mates can get over in hes bodykitted one and the other can't, personaly i dont like bodykits, euro look is cool tho, what engine you got?

I paid £345 back in March

Mine scrub like a bitch with 16" ET45 195/40/16's and 10mm spacers 
Can't go any lower either and still getting some scrubbing issues

Thats a bargain. I have FK highsports which set me back £340 which i thaught was cheap for coilovers.
£175 though will have to let a few people know of this bargain going on down at halfrauds!

Nice corsa, 1.4 16v gls, sport interior (still waiting for front seats) tigra wheels, spax shocks, drilled airbox (with standard filter still!!but still sounds good) lightened flywheel, and seating at work is my 4 branch manifold, will be decat and straight thou exhaust (putting stand r box back on) u?
