They really do.

Spent hours yesterday trying to get a cheap price for my car insurance.

Cheapest i managed was £600 with a company, BUT i didnt declare the mods.

If i declared all the mods (wheels/lowered/exhaust) it was over £1300, or they just wouldnt insure me.

So i basically bit the bullet, said the car was standard and will have to put it back to standard this weekend if i cant find anywhere to insure me.

Its only a 1.4

As it stands i am 21, 6 points, 0 NCB, ok postcode.

I did a quote online for flux, came out £930, but i cant warrant paying £330 just to keep my wheels etc.

I dont even want the corsa anymore, but cant afford to replace it

Any other reccomendations where they dont mind mods?

you spoken to HIC now you're 21?

They cover me for less than £400 all in; everything declared, agreed valuation of £4500; reasonable excess; fully comp etc etc

Very true modify cars suck, too much hassle with regards to insurance, things breaking etc..

Best thing is to get a car that has a bodykit and is fast from standard. Easier to insure IMO

I will be declaring a couple of mods soon. Do you send them an engineers report for the mods?
