Yeah possibly another 2.0 16v corsa on the market soon as I really do feel as if im comming to the end of the line with it and im now changing things for the sake of it lol!!
Its like every other conversion corsa though had a wad of cash thrown at it that I will never see back this is the bit that makes me want to keep it!!
Makes it more difficult when old 2.0 owners say things like 'I really miss mine'
I cant afford to replace it with anything quick either!!! and I dont want to let it go for less than £3k but I really dont think I will get that for it!!
Spec is
1997 Sport 20xe converted using M-Tech kit
Engine full rebuilt 2000 miles ago at a cost of £2k
rebuild included port and polished head
courntnay cams
arp rod bolts
+0.5 pistons
Full GSI kit
15" white MO's
FK Highsports
Whiteline rear bar
stripped interior
buckets
harneses
momo snap off wheel
omp cage
so what do you thing worth £3k?

i'm thinking the same at the mo.
i don't really want rid, but it's temptation to keep splashing out on it when it's there even when it works fine.

£165 bit steep?
i'd say your's was probably worth £3k
i'd ask for £2.8 for mine and your's is a bit newer.
couldn't justify selling for any less after the engine rebuild.

Don't sell it myke, you've got a good engine there - most Xe's don't do mid 14's keep it.
That's a stupid excuse that you want rid, as you keep getting tempted to spend money on it! You'll probably get tempted to spend money on anything you have, only here you have something decent! Make it track worthy (is it not already?) and come on track days with me. Then the fun really begins.

Yeh I'm soon gonna be shelling out for a 266mm brake setup off 206 Gti, however not sure if it's enough maybe I should go for 283 mm?
Then again I'm pretty skint.
If you can, ask to be put out with similar cars - hopefully you'll get in the same session as me

you should quite easily pass the sort of competition I was against

nah it only really seems to slip after launching hard. Then once it slips it doesn't stop slipping. Generally driving the car I don't notice it slip much? I hope I don't get out there and it's slipping on every gear change
